Netscape 4.6 Mail Setup

To setup your Netscape
4.6 to handle your new
POP3 e-mail account, please follow the instruction below :-

|
1. Start the Netscape browser.
2. Click Edit > Preferences.
3. Click Mail & NewsGroups.
4. Click on Identity.
Enter Your Name and your full Email address.
Other fields are optional.

|
|
|
5. Click on Mail Servers.
6. Click Add Button to add Incoming Mail Servers
|
|
|
|
|
7. In Mail
Server property, fill in
Server Name (mail.yourdomain.com),
Server Type, select POP3,
Outgoing Mail Server User Name
(you%yourdamain.com)
Click OK to save setup.

8. Fill in your Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Servers as mail.yourdomain.com
Fill in your Outgoing Mail UserName (you@yourdamain.com).
The Mail directory should be automatically filled in by Netscape.
Once all information is entered, click on OK button to complete setup.
